Watermelon Festival
This festival was so much fun! They offered free watermelon to eat and had a great area for kids to play. There were some organized events like a seed spitting contest (Grandpa's shot to 20 feet, Jonas' to 12.5 feet!) and a greased watermelon relay (Jonas participated in this one). I kept looking for the watermelon look-a-like contest, but never found one. The younger boys held their own contest...

That looks like it was a lot of fun! I would have LOVED to go, I guess it would have helped if we were in the state at the time! Sorry we missed it!
