Our family scripture time

(This is a tad long, roughly 2 minutes, but bear with it, she is so stinking cute!)

I'm a turkey

... at least in my dream! Of all the bizarre preggo dreams, this tops them all! I was a turkey, buttered, basted, and browned, being cooked in the 350 degree oven.

Possible interpretations:

a) I feel under pressure
b) I fear "Butterball" will be a new nickname
c) I fear for the Georgia heat that is coming
d) I need more protein
e) I spend a lot of time in my kitchen
f) I want to eat like it is Thanksgiving every day
g) It is already hot enough, thank you very much
h) I feel stuffed
i) I need to work on my tan

Oh, the possibilities are endless!

Odd, huh?!!?

Can't help but smile!

My kids are the best! This line-up is what I came downstairs to today... They made their own breakfast, cleaned up afterwards, got dressed, and ready for church all before 8 AM! They also made me breakfast (my favorite oatmeal) and put 3 m&m's on it.... M 0 M. Very cute. Hugs, kisses, cards, sweet services, and a hard-working husband/dad helped make my Mother's Day very enjoyable.

I'm thankful for all the moms in my life - there are so many! Mom, Jeanene, Raylene, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, YW leaders, RS leaders and teachers, and wonderful friends! Thanks to all of you for your wonderful examples and love!

School Projects

Remember the Alamo!

The California Gold Rush

Jonas and Leslie did a great job with a written paper and a show and tell demonstration/presentation about their respective subjects. We had a fun time eating spicy hot Alamo chili and Western Omelets on toast for dinner. Our activity was panning for gold (gold coins in rice...)!
