Halloween 2015

Trunk or treating this year was awesome.  

We passed out 10 dozen donuts!  

Usually we pass out the trunk or treat candy to our trick or treaters, 

but this year we only had 4 visitors.  

This left a lot of candy... 2 huge baskets full! 

We organized, graphed, and weighed our candy.  

26 pounds, pretty evenly split between chocolate and non-chocolate 

(which is really the only way to categorize candy...)

Can we say YIKES?

Everyone is happy and kind of grossed out at the same time.  

My birthday

I woke up on my birthday not in an incredibly great mood...  

BUT

Then I realized as I prepared to pray 

that I had an opportunity to thank my Heavenly Father for my wonderful life 

by trying to live my day the best that I could.  

SO

I had an excellent day.  

I'm so thankful for the inspiration and encouragement 

to turn my day a different direction.  

My kids and husband were very attentive, 

and it was awesome to see family on Skype 

and talk on the phone with them.
