19 years since we've seen our angel; we are looking forward to our reunions!

Jonas is 22!

How do I have a son so old!?!??!  He had a great day... as a college student he had classes to attend, homework to complete, and then finally was able to go on a dinner date with Kelsey and stop by for presents and cake at the end of the day.  We are so thankful for him in our family; he's a fantastic guy!  

He has been busy not only with school, but also with the National Guard, working at a school for autistic abused youth, and volunteering for Operation Underground Railroad.  In his spare time (?!?!?) he has also coached Provo's community football team for ages 13-15.

Sidenote: its so nice to have a daughter exactly 30 years younger than me...
I can keep track of my age so easily!

This year I received (and gave) presents that focused my attention on becoming more like my Savior.  Each year I'll try to do better!



My mom, Blythe, Evelyn, and I assembled hygiene kits for Lifting Hands International.

And Bob gave me a beautiful addition to our pictures of Jesus Christ collection.

Evelyn has turned 13!

Grandpa and Grandma fulfilled one of her dreams: to ride a horse!

Reuben is 10, and Micah is 15!!!

I love these two boys!  They make me smile, laugh, roll my eyes, 

and wish I could freeze every moment so that I could revisit again and again!

Leslie turned 20! 
She returned to Nauvoo after her outbound assignment to Fort Collins Colorado where she actually served in Casper WY and Sidney NE.  We were blessed to speak with her on her travel day (April 1) and her birthday (April 2).  We are so thankful for the opportunity to see her and talk with her every week.   She blesses our lives as she serves faithfully and joyfully as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She loves sharing her testimony and experiences with every one around her:companions, visitors to the tour sites, friends, and family.  What a beautiful woman she is!

David's 18th Birthday

We kept our tradition of having the missionaries over for dinner and cake.  

We love remembering David through these years!

We have two 16-year-old boys...

               

They couldn't be more handsome and awesome.  

They are the definition of twin awesomeness. 

I'm so proud of how they are growing up: exploring, serving, and developing so many talents!

Next up: Eagle Projects, Drivers Licenses, Black Belts!!!!!!!

Evelyn is Eleven!

Say that eleven times fast.....  its kind of hard to say and kind of hard to believe! 

Another teenager.... Micah is 13!

Lots of fun on this birthday! Micah loves all things from Harry Potter, so he received a couple of wands, some fun books, and a bowtruckle! His cake was supposed to be the Deathly Hallows.  If you squint your eyes and pretend (and know the attempt) it kind of looks like it.

We love Micah so much.  He is a fun teenager, an excellent son, and an awesome friend to us all!

Reuben's birthday

HE'S 8!!!

8 years old!  How incredible is that?  He is the sweetest, most sincere, and innocent little boy.  His eyes show the purity of his soul.  I love him so much!  He will be baptized this Saturday, August 26. We are so thankful he is in our family.  He is the best 8 year old!
