Halloween 2019

The Bush family became secret service agents for the President of the USA for a couple of nights. 

Our trunk or treat and our trick or treating evenings were perfectly suited (haha) for keeping an eye on our youngest president ever, President Gideon Bush, age 7.  Mom didn't have to worry at all about him that night since he had several seasoned secret service agents surrounding him!

Remodeling

We've done everything backwards, ripped walls, torn up carpet, installed floors, puttied and painted, and had a great time making a lot of interesting family memories.  We've learned a lot.  It's been stressful and fun, mixing those two emotions with a lot of others!

"Jan's fight is over"

This was the text that we got the morning of Jan's passing.  It followed a very difficult week, ending a beautiful life.  I am so thankful to call her my sister and friend.  An outpouring of love and comfort and sweetness has accompanied this experience.

  

Being near family

I don't get pictures of being around family too much, usually because I am enjoying actually being with them!   We really are loving living near so much family!  Cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents... all the best.  Here are a couple of cutie pie moments with the two cousins who live closest!

New Years Day 2019

you know it kind of looks like the word, "ESCAPE"

We did a homemade escape room, 

complete with many clues and key combinations.  

We loved it!  

It was awesome to see how the kids took turns, worked together, 

and used their strengths to solve the clues 

and get us out of a locked room!

Family picture before Sister Leslie Bush leave for the MTC and to Nauvoo Illinois for 18 months!

We are moving...

And the house is up for sale.

It is a gorgeous home, with an array of family and friend memories in every corner.

This is a bittersweet move...
we've loved being here in El Paso with so many wonderful people and experiences.
