Brackium Emendo!

Yup, another memorable evening...

Jonas broke his arm when he fell off a trampoline. "Mom, something is wrong with my arm..." Indeed there was; his arm looked like Harry Potter's floppy arm in book/movie #2. Bob headed straight back to work, spending another 6 hours at the hospital. Of course Jonas did great, never complained, and was a perfect patient. (We as parents complained more!) We never expected Jonas to have the first broken bone in our family... knowing our boys, it won't be the last...

1 night down, 6 weeks to go.

Cool cast, Jonas! What lengths you'll go to to get out of mowing the lawn!!!! Love you, Mam-ma

Okay, when I saw the title to your post, I thought you had had your baby and this was his name "Brackium Emendo"! I thought it was an interesting choice, but when I read the story, I was glad that it means something else :) Sorry to hear about Jonas. Hope he feels better soon and that you get that baby out soon too!

Like I said earlier Dresden, impeccable timing. I am stunned at the difference between 30 year old women and 11(?) year old boys -- Jonas looks thrilled to have a cast, and it nearly sent me over the edge.
Here's to a speedy recovery, and good luck tomorrow!

I'm so sorry, Jonas(and mom and dad)! But you are so tough (you too, mom and dad)! And that cast is cool - it's blue! And it's big! By the way - Congratulations on your Faith in God award! That's completely AWESOME - way to go! What a special accomplishment! :)

So sorry about the broken arm, but one nice side effect is that you get special attention (for awhile at least). Hope you don't have to go through what you Dad did.

Sorry to hear about the broken arm. Sounds like he handled it well though.
