January weather

In January, Bob went to Hawaii for a National Guard assignment. 
We were all jealous,
but figured out how to enjoy different versions of beauty and weather:

Have you met our cat?

We just can't seem to get along without pets.  This is Oliver "Cower"dry.  The introduction to him at the animal shelter we adopted him from said, "He doesn't know that he likes humans yet."  HAHA!  He is the cutest, shyest, wackiest, and cuddliest kitty. 

New Years Day 2019

"ES-CAP-E", 

you know it kind of looks like the word, "ESCAPE"

We did a homemade escape room, 

complete with many clues and key combinations.  

We loved it!  

It was awesome to see how the kids took turns, worked together, 

and used their strengths to solve the clues 

and get us out of a locked room!

(and some snacks!)
