Wacky Wednesday

The kids really loved this last year and have been looking forward to it this year too!  Despite being really tired last night, Bob and I rigged up the house to look all "wacky".  To clarify what that means... we cleaned up the house, to make it look clutter-free so the kids can spot the random wackiness of stuff in random places...  It was worth it.  The kids were excited to walk around and find all the wacky socks and shoes on fans and walls, stuffed animals stuck to walls, books in the fridge, utensils stuck to doors and fireplaces, etc.  My favorite was the baby gate hanging from the ceiling instead of blocking the floor path.

We had some green eggs and bacon with a side dish of macaroni and cheese for breakfast, some goldfish with pizza fondue for lunch, and a wacky menu for the kids to choose from for dinner.  Fun stuff.

This is a truly wacky idea. I know the kids loved it. Books in the fridge and a gate on the ceiling are the wackiest. They will all remember this Seuss week.
