Yesterday at a Valentine's party, Micah accidentally hit Reuben in the eyebrow with a golf club. I hurriedly took the kids home and searched for an emergency room/urgent care. They brought him back immediately and repaired his jagged wound. (Even his eyebrow hair was scalped off!) He did NOT like being papoosed and held down tightly, but after a few minutes of screaming, he settled down and tolerated the sutures well. He has resumed all normal 18 month old activities, and is totally feeling fine!
These are Reuben's 9 stitches. His eye is swollen and blue-ish, but he should be healed soon. Because he is young, his eyebrow hair will probably grow back. But if not, chicks dig scars, right?

Ouch is right! Not a fun day for Mom or for Owen. So sorry. I know that it will heal well. Dad didn't stitch it?

Oh my goodness! I'm sure he got lots of hugs and kisses to help him feel better.
Oooooooooooohhhhhh owie, ow, ow!!!! so sorry for the pain! I know he's feeling fine now, but it just looks so.... so... ouch! Hugs to you all! (but gently!)
