I read a few years ago of a woman who made cookies in her car. When it reached 100 degrees a few days ago, I knew I had found a fun summer activity. The kids and I made the cookie dough, froze it for easy slicing, and then placed the cookies on cookie sheets in the car.
It didn't quite work the first time, for a few reasons. We waited until the end of the day to put the cookies in the car, and our house shaded the car... Also, it wasn't the hottest day to do it.
This was fun, and we enjoyed our 1/2 car - 1/2 oven baked cookies.
We'll try this again on a HOT day!

What a great idea Dresden! I think we too need to try the car cookies.
