I went to Utah to be with Blythe and Greg when they had their 10# baby! He's adorable, and I'm going through withdrawals now. Good thing I have plenty of pictures! I pull them out and look at them and show him off to friends... I guess I'm excited he's here!
The kids did really well while I was gone, and they learned a new appreciation for how hard I work at home. I checked in with them at least daily, and with our Vivint security camera, I was able to participate/watch them have family prayers on their own. What a heart-warming experience to see my kids rise to the challenge of preparing meals, doing school together, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, and continuing with seminary and gospel studies through the day.
