Spontaneous trip to DC

Blythe and I made quick plans to join Daryth, Dad, and Jeanene in DC for Daryth's birthday week.  

We had a lot of fun visiting with Betsy, 

seeing a play, 

talking and hanging out, 

playing Scrabble, 

walking around Mt Vernon, 

enjoying a picnic and beautiful nature, 

and preparing and eating lots of delicious food.

*Daryth is moving from Rome, Italy to Bahia, Brazil with a short stop in DC this year.
I'm so happy to spend time with her wherever she is!
I was lucky enough to visit Rome and DC this year...
One of these days (years) I'll try to get to Bahia!
