Jonas had a great day: a fantastic seminary class, Krispy Kreme Donuts, football screen time, presents including an iphone 5c and a new facebook account, an IHOP date with Mom, and a surprise get-together with friends for a game of football and time at the park. Pizza and cake ended the day, and we really enjoyed hanging out with our new 16 year old!
On Sunday he was ordained a priest in the Aaronic Priesthood, and then was also able to assist in ordaining other priests in the quorum. He is such a wonderful and righteous young man. We have been so blessed to have him as our oldest child to set such a great example for our family.

Sounds like an awesome birthday! Great cake! ...and holy cow 16 Lindt bars...good thing he is a 16 year old boy and not a 42 year old woman, he'll be able to burn those calories a lot easier than I would (but oh, such tasty calories!)
What a fun and food filled day! We must agree that he is a fine young man. He is fun to be around, good looking and an "excellent driver".
