Let me explain... Let me sum up... No, even that is too much!

So, a month and a bit has passed.  We have had many adventures and ummmmm.... disappointments to write about, so I will summarize with pictures.

Saying goodbye to friends in El Paso Texas was hard

Poppa Keith and Jeanene helped get our rental house clean, painted, and ready for move-in

Now the waiting begins...
What did the Bush Family do while we waited a month for our shipment to arrive?

Cardboard Twister

Lots of parks

Lots of parks... sometimes not so happy about the parks

Read books from the library

Swam at the community pool

Bought a new car (not this one, ha ha)
We bought a Ford Focus, YAY!

Washington D.C. Temple Visitors Center

Homemade pool noodle light sabers
Shadow drawing

More time at the pool

A Fairy Garden!

Water balloon fight

Troy caught 3 frogs in one day

Enjoyed the wildlife in our back yard (so far this deer has appeared at least twice, rabbits are plentiful, and we saw a groundhog the other day too)

Slept on the couch for about three weeks

The movers came!  June 30...   One full month from when they packed us.  Nice.

We had a huge thunderstorm the night before which knocked out the power for two days.  It was miserable to move in this hot (100 F) and humid weather with no a/c, no fast food places open, and cell phone service was minimal.  I picked up Jonas and Leslie from their camps, enjoying lots of time on the road as D.C. traffic turned into 4-way stops at every light that was out.  Our movers had to wait until 3:30 to get lunch (that I found and bought 30 minutes away).
We went to "bed" (more couch time!) as soon as it got dark since we couldn't find anything in the mess that ensued after they "unpacked" some of the boxes.

We took Sunday, July 1 off from moving and enjoyed time with the Isoms, their air conditioning, and their ward.  (Thank you again!)

We have now mostly unpacked and settled in...

Let more adventures begin!

Thank you, dear ones. for catching us up on activities and pictures. My favorite was cardboard twister! Sorry that June was so rough, but I hope that you're able to quickly sort out the mess (REALLY) the movers made!

Love you all dearly!!!!!!!

I love the title of this post... name that movie & earn a sparkly star! Brilliant problem solving with the games, the frogs, the fairy garden, and lots of love...

What a jam packed post. Loved all the creativity and help from family. Loved all the pictures they really tell a story. Looks like the unpacking went a bit a wry. Hope the dust has settled and you can enjoy the weekend with us.
