Baby Evelyn on the way home from the hospital
and 3 years later...
Evelyn turned 3 today... She is such a "girly" girl, no, make that a princess. Her Highness started the day out with a doctor appointment, and came home to a slew of homemade crowns. Then she did a dancing show for us and played with Disney toys all day long. She picked "Aladdin" for her movie to watch, while Mom worked feverishly on wrapping presents and decorating a cake (which Dad had to rescue and fix due to Mom's impatience and half-thought out ideas). She is loving all the sibling/parent/grandparent attention, soaking it all in with a royal air, even telling people "You have to obey me, because I am the princess!"

Sorry to have missed the royal celebration. I appears to have been very successful. Happy to have a three year old princess in the family.
