Update: He has now had surgery (two pins), and two additional casts. He'll get another one in a couple of weeks. I think this is a Guiness World Record for casts on a thumb!

Broken thumb!
While closing the sliding door on our van, Bob accidentally left his thumb in the way! (He has more imaginative stories...!) He survived church with a dangling thumb, and got it cast on Monday, Tuesday, and twice on Thursday. (It was too tight, it wasn't set right, and then the bone had to be re-broken and re-set.) Good grief! We are really hoping he won't need surgery!

Yikes! I hope your cast comes off sooner rather than later!
Did you at least get a treat for being so good when they put the cast on?
