For me!
The kids surprised me with a sweet breakfast in bed. They brought me toast with jam and a cup of milk. They decorated a shoe box for my tray and brought homemade cards saying, "Sleep well!" on them. (They even cleaned up the kitchen!)
The occasion? The kids know I haven't slept through the night for months now, and they wanted to give me an easy day.
They are so sweet...the best kids a (tired) mom could ask for!

How come you haven't been sleeping through the night?
I have a "lovely 2 year old" that just cannot manage to stop calling out for mom.......... She averages 2-3 times a night (and sometimes doesn't go back to sleep for a while).
I also have kids coming to tell me about nightmares, wetting the bed, and one night Owen even came in and told me he just made up a poem. Oh, lovely!
6 kids apparently means very little sleep.
Breakfast in a shoe box.. it doesn't get much better than that! What good kids!

Awee Dresden that would melt my heart!!! You have awesome kids. So spoiled. yes no sleep during the night but lots of love in the moring. I love the poem, and the oh lovely!!! Giggles cracks me up.
